For those of you within reach of Providence, RI, this Friday's screening is free and open to the public:
The RISD Museum presents:
Dziga Vertov's "Man With a Movie Camera" (1929)
This print will screen to live musical accompaniment by Yakov Gubanov, composer-in-residence at the Harvard Film Archive and associate professor at the Berklee College of Music.
7:15 pm, RISD Auditorium (Canal way between College and Waterman), Providence, RI
This screening is presented in conjunction with the exhibition "Music Video/Silent Film: Innovations in the Moving Image" at the RISD Museum. More information on that here:
