Bad form? What are you talking about? Since when it
is bad form to tape something off TV or to post about
it on a listserv?

Good for Criterion for putting out what is apparently
a nice quality edition. But to condemn taping stuff
off TV, implying it's wrong or immoral or something,
is ridiculous, especially if you're then talking about
"trading" essentially illegal copies of Marker films
with no regard to what Marker himself would think
about it. Funny you would be more interested in
protecting Criterion's commercial interests versus
Marker's artistic ones (i.e. trading copies of his
films without concern for his likely displeasure with
the frequent poor quality of these bootlegs)
