Job Description:
The Cinema Studies Program at Oberlin College invites applications
for a one-year, half-time, non-continuing faculty position in
filmmaking/digital video production for the academic year 2007-08 in
the College of Arts & Sciences. (A total of three courses will be
taught, either distributed over the fall and spring semesters or
taught all in the spring semester.) M.F.A. or comparable terminal
degree in hand by September 2007. Candidates must demonstrate
interest and potential excellence in undergraduate teaching. Review
of applications will begin 25 June 2007 and continue until the
position is filled. Please send cover letter, CV, transcripts, three
letters of reference, a summary of creative interests, a syllabus for
a basic production course, and samples of creative work on dvd. We
are particularly interested in receiving applications from
individuals who would contribute to the diversity of our faculty.
