Remembrance for Ken Anderlini
Thursday 17 May
VIVO [ video in + video out ]
1965 Main Street Vancouver

We regret to announce the passing of Ken Anderlini on Tuesday 17
April. Ken was a queer activist, an instructor at Simon Fraser
University, a film maker and video producer, a programmer (Out on
Screen, Video In, the Pacific Cinematheque, and the Vancouver
International Film Festival), a collaborator, a provocateur, and most
recently, a PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia. Ken
was an educator by word and by deed, a coruscating critic, and a
conscience for us all.

Ken's death is sad news, but his life is very much worth celebrating.
VIVO invites you to a remembrance of Ken Anderlini on Thursday 17 May
at Video In Studios, 1965 Main Street, 8 to 11 PM. The program is
open mic / open screening. If you have some words, sounds or images
you'd like to share - or if you simply want to listen and watch and
remember - please attend.

If you are in possession of media featuring Ken and/or his work
(think film school, recordings of radio show call-ins, vacation
super-8, graduation pix, etc.) and if you wish to share your material
at Ken's remembrance, please contact Andrew Power (email suppressed)
to make arrangements.
