I don't have the dvd here with me to check, but one of the extras was the
making of and they explained how it was made so if you have a copy it might
be worth watching. I think I recall they custom built the background
projection wall. broadcast graphics systems can do similar effects but they
are quite expensive.

Isadora can do this also (realtime) though I'm not sure about any screen
size limits it may have.
