Thanks, Fred Camper for the Kyle Canterbury heads-up

Dear All,
Fred Camper steered us all to the Chicago Filmmakers' screening of 17
year old Kyle Canterbury's video and it was a good tip.
Canterbury shoots with a cheap camcorder and then reshoots the images
off his screen, zooming in far enough to abstract the images to varying
degrees. Most of it was really lovely and provocative, though sometimes
toneless.

He spoke, diffidently, after the screening and took questions. He
seemed shy but he had a definite artistic and experimental core he was
working from.

I'll be interested in his next batch.

Cordially,
Doug
