Hello Everyone.

Just wanted to let you all know there will be a free
screening of Kyle Canterbury's video work at the
Nickelodeon Theater in Columbia, SC (927 Main) on
Friday February 16th at 11PM.

I completely agree with all the praise already heaped
on Canterbury by Fred Camper, Patrick Friel, and
Jonathan Rosenbaum. It's really amazing work.

The program is as follows:
Building in Detroit #2
Mosaic 5
7 New Videos: #5
18 Videos: #8
Fragments from a Room
TV Stills
Untitled Videos: #9
Untitled Videos: #13
October 2006
Ten Videos #10
19: Passage
(July, 2006)
Video Color Explorations #2

"He does some things with rhythm and texture I haven’t
seen before in film or video" -Jonathan Rosenbaum

“Kyle Canterbury's recent work is my favorite video
art, ever. Mostly silent, many are also "abstract,"
and all use a variety of techniques to produce highly
musical yet deeply unpredictable forms.” -Fred Camper
