You might also want to check out FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS about three GIs from
the famous flag raising at Iwo Jima touring the USA to get people to buy
bonds/win the war. But Eastwood is clearly trying to outline a project similar to
yours. The three men cannot stand their individuation, for instance. Whether or
not the films works is another question. After all, it stars the luscious Ryan
Phillippe...
