Among the titles added to the national registry this
year note the inclusion of Harry Smith's EARLY
ABSTRACTIONS, Jonas Mekas' REMINISCENCES OF A JOURNEY
TO LITHUANIA and IN THE STREET by Helen Levitt, James
Agee and Janice Loeb.

(Uh, and also note the inclusion of BLAZING SADDLES,
FARGO, ROCKY, Carpenter's HALLOWEEN. SEX LIES AND
VIDEOTAPE and GROUNDHOG DAY among other classics of
American cinema....)
