Frameworkers:

I recently added a posting, a "Call for Entries" for the Fargo Film Festival
(Fargo, North Dakota, USA)... and surely that posting should suffice, however
couldn't help but write a quick note to all of you. I would like to stress
the NEED for experimental & animated work at this festival and personally
extend this open call to the Frameworks community. I need your help!

This is the seventh year for the Fargo Film Festival, and my first year
working with them. I am excited to help with their Experimental & Animation
category, and knew very well that the Fargo community has not traditionally
had
much exposure to experimental work. However I was a bit perplexed to hear
that, in the past, this category gets very few entries (VERY FEW).
Furthermore the lack of entries, the lack of exposure, seems also to have
complicated what the Fargo community defines as "experimental". This needs to
change.

I am hoping to assist my screening committee in putting together a great
program for this category... so please (!) send in your work.
If you have any questions or suggestions (specifically about the Experimental
category), please feel free to contact me off list. For general festival
questions, contact Prairie Rose (email suppressed).

takk og sjaumst,
kyja
