I've rented a print of Fuses to screen next week here in Atlanta, and on
the can it says to project at 16fps. However, this is the only
indication I've ever seen about this. None of the websites or
filmographies I've checked indicates 16fps (including Canyon and FMC
websites). In addition, different sources list different running times
for the film: 18 minutes and 22 minutes. The difference in times might
explain different projection speeds.
Schneemann's website lists 18 minutes; the filmography in her MIT Press
book lists the film as 22 minutes and the video transfer as 18 minutes.
I've emailed Ms. Schneemann via her website, but thought I would ask
here as well. If anyone has experience with this, I'd be grateful to
hear about it.
