Sorry, I don't know if this scam even hit frameworks, but just in case, FYI:

ALERT about last week’s Univ. of Pennsylvania
call for video art and architecture

In response to last week’s listing for a
University of Pennsylvania call for video art and
architecture (deadline December 1, 2006), we
received the following:

Please warn people about this Lucia Curci
character, he makes his living "organizing" video
screenings with really exorbitant entry fees. A
collaborator of mine sent him something we were
working on and he "accepted" it but needed 80
euro to show it. Because of multiple complaints
he's already blocked from the nettime
announcements list, please do not allow him to
scam people on the Franklin Furnace list. I
don't know if the University of Pennsylvania
knows his full deal, but it's pretty wrong.
International ArtExpo is really a for-profit
venture for one person.

thank you,
benjamin gerdes
