Hi Mark

Anthology is currently in the middle of preserving
KITCH'S LAST MEAL. It is being blown up to 16mm by BB
OPTICS (Bill Brand). The soundtrack, which was always
on cassette, will be put to CD rather than on the
prints to keep the variability factor as part of the
work. From the new elements a video copy will also be
produced for distribution purposes. I expect to
finish the project by the end of the year. We are
also producing a negative for FUSES from the
edited/painted original. This is being done at
Cineric Inc. Some sections of the film were made with
splicing tape, not celluloid, and this is proving to
be a tough one for the lab to work with, even with
their delicate printers. Still, I expect that the new
neg (there has never been one before) and prints will
be bright and truer to the hand-painted tones in the
original.

So, good news all around concerning Carolee's work....
