I was searching through the FW archives and saw that no one mentioned this, so I though I would post the link below. Forgive me if someone did mention this already- maybe it just wasn't archived and I missed the post. This person hosted a "Blog-A-Thon" earlier this month on the theme of Avant-Garde films. There was a pretty broad spectrum of posts in response. I found it very interesting (I participated as well, though it might be too late for that at this point- sorry):
