San Francisco Bay Area Frameworkers;

I've curated a show that'll be presented by Canyon Cinema at the
Ninth Street Independent Film Center (145 9th Street) in San Francisco
on Friday, September 8th at 7:30pm.

All 16mm.

The program is called "Not at Ease and Not at Rest", and it'll
include "Filmpiece for Sunshine" by John Luther Schofill, "Miss
Jesus Fries on Grill" by Dorothy Wiley, "Selective Service System"
by Warren Haack, "Restless" by Andrej Zdravic, "Thanatopsis" by Ed
Emshwiller, "Old Argument on MacDougal Street" by James Irwin, "Wild
Night in El Reno" by George Kuchar, plus another film or two,
announced or not, and a few minutes of excerpts from my work-in-limbo,
"EFC/PC", which is not really like the others, but shows John
Schofill and crew putting together the final EFC screening at
Chicago's Randolph Street Gallery in May 1990; hardly anyone has
seen a single frame of it.

Admission is $7.

I'll send out a reminder as the date gets closer, and it'll be in
the weekly flicker listing, too.

Please come.

Thanks, Eric
