 ROBERT TODD: SELECTED WORKS
Robert Todd's visually stunning films are not easily defined or
categorized. His ideas are culled from an introspective place that is
quiet, thoughtful, and curious. Todd's films take a variety of poetic
approaches to looking at the personal, political and social ways we
choose to live. His current work examines some of the darker material
within our social fabrics, focusing on the institution of the death
penalty in American culture. Todd's films have screened internationally
at film festivals such as Rotterdam, New York, London, Images (Toronto),
Onion City, Athens, Impakt, Media City, CinemaTexas, Chicago, Seattle
Underground, New York Underground, Black Maria, and SlamDance (among
others). His films have won awards at the Zinebi (Bilbao), Humboldt,
FLEX, Ohio Independent, New England, Iowa City, and Microcine film
festivals. Todd has been working as a teacher and an editor in the
Boston area since 1985. www.roberttoddfilms.com ROBERT TODD: SELECTED
