Hi all,
Not a very active participant on this list, but Išm hoping some of you
small-gauge filmmakers will be able to help us out. First off, do any of you
happen to know of a reliable film lab in the New Orleans area? We are
specifically looking for labs that do quality small-gauge film-to-video
transfer, as wešre looking to recommend labs to folks who attend Home Movie
Day New Orleans this year (recommending also that they retain the originals,
of course!).
Wešve got a pretty good idea of out-of-area labs, but since this is
cost-prohibitive for many people, wešd like to be able to point them to labs
that are nearby as well.
And finally, do you all have any ideas about shops in the area where we can
purchase Super8, 8mm, and 16mm leader and other supplies?
