I would characterize the relationship between Piero Heliczer's mid-60s
underground film, "Joan of Arc," and Joan of Arc herself as poetic.
I made an hour-long solo reed-organ recording for Piero, from which he
extracted the soundtrack for the film. I have always felt that the "long
version" of the recording was wonderful, and I am very happy that just
now, as I write, Table of the Elements is preparing to release it on CD.
So I'm sure there will be more news about all of this, soon.
