Booking Question

Hello everyone,

I am trying to put together a program of (largely) avant-garde animation for
an institution that is only able to show video formats (Beta/DVD). I'd like
to show things along the lines of Richter, Eggeling, Fischinger, Breer,
Brakhage, Belson, Whitney, etc. but am finding nothing available on video
from places like Canyon and the Filmmakers Co-Op. I realize that there is
probably resistance from many camps to having these things exhibited
publicly on video (which I understand and even agree with), but it
seems better for these things to at least have the opportunity to be shown.

So my question is, does anyone have any leads for me for finding these
things on video? What I can find on DVD and the like is licensed for home
use exclusively, and being new to booking, I really don't know where to go
to get permission to show these things publicly.

I imagine it's best if anyone with any tips contact me off-list. Thanks in
advance for any help you can give me.

Best,
Jesse
