There is a recipe for a coffee-based developer out there that
apparently works quite well.
Called something like Folgernol.
Xtol developer (not cheap, but made with ascorbic acid aka vitamin C)
is great for pushing.
Perhaps a program of food-based chemistry-processed films?
With food to go with it?
