The Milwaukee International Film Festival is seeking a new Managing Director
to begin work immediately developing and marketing the 4th Annual, 2006,
Milwaukee International Film Festival.
*MANAGING DIRECTOR* – Job description
1. Experience working with non-profit organizations. It would be an
advantage if the candidate had experience in major fund raising for a large
non-profit organization.
2. Excellent communication skills; ability to represent MIFF to major
sponsors, public officials and press.
3. Highly developed sense of priorities; ability to work simultaneously
on many projects, highly developed time management skills, use of time
lines.
4. Superior management skills; ability to manage a large staff of
volunteers and interns.
5. College degree, preferably in business administration and
communication.
6. An interest in and love of film and movies. It would be an added
advantage if the candidate had attended film festivals and/or had experience
working with film festivals.
