Hi John,
Yep, LA Filmforum is at the Egyptian these days, and I just came from the
Flicker show at the Egyptian - Attack of the 50 Foot Reels! A wide array,
including two films by kids under 10; good crowd, lots of enthusiasm.
Enough to give one hope.
The LACE space where we were 8 years ago decided they didn't want film
screenings there anymore, and wanted to convert it all to art gallery space.
We moved from there to the Hammer Museum for a while, and now at the
Egyptian, renting the small theatre from the American Cinematheque one night
a week. It would be great to have you again!
I'll check on those links. They used to work, but as usual, things change.
Ah, I see, Tellervo Kalleinen should just read:
http://www.ykon.org/tellervo/
We seem to have stuck a "www.lafilmforum.org" in there first.
Not sure what happened to Kenneth Anger's page. Well, actually it seems as
though Phinnweb has disappeared.
Best regards,
Adam
