But surely not all Avant Garde films preach especialy?

Also perhaps the A-G not only serves as an example but
exists as a place for people to express ideas away
from mainstream society. Perhaps it functions as an
alternative place to go.

I don't know really, I just thought I'd throw that in
the pot! :)
