The other thing you can do is find a dc transformer that is rated at the
same volts/amps as the original battery, and reattach the lead from the
battery to the dc transformer.
I'm not sure what kind of connector is on the end of an auricon amp battery,
but assuming it's somethig kind of standard, you could buy extra ones form
markertek or digikey, that way you could splice one onto a dc transformer so
you can plug it into a stadard outlet AND look for a suitable battery
replacement and splice the connector onto that so it you'd be prepared for
any situation.
