How are you doing pinhole with a bolex anyway? It sounds intriguing. Are you doing it with a matte box or just puting a piece of cardboard up against the turret? How did the results come out?

Subject: removing the prism from a Bolex?
Dear Frameworks:
Can anyone advise me on how to remove a prism from a Bolex?
Some background:
I am trying to make a pinhole film so I shot some test footage that came back with prism artifacts on it. I decided to try to remove the prism before shooting again and am not sure how to proceed. I don't want to be any more invasive than I have to so I want to proceed with caution.
It seems like I should try to remove the hinge screws that hold the prism in place but in order to do that it looks like I need to remove the entire turret mount first. Is that the right way to go? As I said, I don't want to do anything unecessary that I won't be able to fix or will have to pay lots of $ to have a pro rectify.
As always, thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
Best,
CH
