As many of you are aware Mark Lapore passed away this weekend.
He was an incredible person and we all love him dearly at MassArt. He along
with Ericka Beckman and Saul Levine makes the film department here a truly
wonderful place to both work and learn. Mark was always quick to smile, to
help and to joke around. He loved film and was a fantastic teacher.
Our thoughts are with him and his family.
Mark was a mentor, a friend and a great filmmaker. I want to thank him for
giving me so much.

A new film of his will be at this year's views from the avante-garde show on
October 1st.
