There's a big difference in the final analysis between marketing and
visibility.

Marketing is good but it's ultimate limit happens when what you're
marketing gets changed beyond original intention so as to accommodate
the market or presumed market. I suppose the pop-culturally filtered
"avant garde" has bonded intention to accommodation, it has passed Go
and has collected $ 200,000 (or hopes to !)

Visibility to me says make visible to those who would look at it if
they could see it. The kind of cinema we're talking about deserves more
visibility, I don't argue. I mean I think there are many more who would
if could, but I'm not at all sure that its a case of dissemination by
any means necessary. Focus is one thing, diffusion another.
