They said that book was coming a little late. I'll check it out when it
arrives.
Thanks!

Weird, as your email arrived, I had open this great volume LUX published to
accompany the series:
"Subjects and Sequences: A Margaret Tait Reader" (LUX, 2994, 0954856902),
edited by Peter Todd and Ben Cook
Check it out.
I got the book thru Inter Library Loan; the films should be coming from LUX
and thru Milwaukee next month
Just viewed a selection of Margaret Tait's film poems (new prints funded by
Lux) at the Pacific Film Archive. There were some beautiful moments tucked
away in these short films. I somehow imagine a kind of agnes martin type
hermit releasing the ego and working in relative anonymity. I know nothing about
Tait, other than what I can find in this sparse show program... anyone have
any interesting stories or facts that could shed light on this body of work?
Steven
