Yes, 35mm is the intended market (as you know there's hardly a market for
16mm). It's ment to be used with cleaning transport rollers on a platter
system, but I've been using it (as have a number of other folks I've
talked with) by applying with webril wipes.
A *little* goes a long way...and it takes multiple projections for the
coating to work itself in without visible streaking.
It's not perfect, but the protection is an added benefit (not to mention
the anti-static properties). One just has to live with the fact that it
takes a few times projecting before there's no visible coating. A small
trade off I think.
