An alternative to the 3M product is FilmGuard (http://www.film-tech.com).
For those unfamiliar with this product it's a liquid applicant used to
coat and protect prints for projection. I've used FilmGuard on a recently
completed film, as well as on work prints. With WPs it reduces the wear
and keeps the prints looking good after constant projection.
It's archival safe too. That is, it can be easily removed unlike the 3M
stuff and doesn't bond or chemically alter the print. It smells good too!
