We have some experience with this and are in progress with more programs
for Fall. It's rather involved, since student groups and academic
departments at the local universities are unaware of the delicate nature
of film projection as well as the costs.
Working with large institutions and host organizations is certainly one of
the best means to bring programs to one's community. These institutions
have the resources it's just a matter of influencing them to move it in
certain directions. They have to see it as having cultural value and
supplimental their curriculmn.
