You don't provide enough information for us to answer your questions,
But we can only assume that you mean to go back and cut negative since
it would be absurd to finish a 35mm project on DV.
If the question you were asking concerns how well Avid deals with DV,
In my experience Avids input and output to DV as well as they do to any
format.
