>all wrong? that's harsh gus!
hey matt. i merely used you as an example because
i'm not only familiar with your work, some of
your films i've seen twice, thrice and beyond!
(and you may consider that too a plug --
mccormick, kubelka -- that's pretty good company
to be keeping!) but yeah, sometimes i am harsh,
but no harsher than some of the toughminded sorts
in the experimental film community, who have a
tendency to be out and out killers...
>anyhow, here's an incomplete and poorly spelled list of personal favorites
>that i feel would need to be on some top 25 list or another. this list
>obviously reflects my personal taste and the fact that i have seen a lot
>more american work than non-american work. i probably haven’t seen much
>more of peter kubelka’s work than you have to be honest.
thanks for this. i can say i've only seen 3 of
these films, but that's a better average than the
first list. 3 out of 17 is better than 2 out of
25. (and miranda july's getting stronger every
day is just about the funniest 5 minute film i've
ever glommed.)
23 skidoo!
