As I just found out, the German company Wittner
has bought Cine-Beaulieu. They transported
everything that has to do with film to their
location in Hamburg. (story told at
http://www.wittner-kinotechnik.de/info/umzug-fr.html
- in German) They will take up camera production
again, projectors will not be constructed newly,
but they will sell refurbished projectors again.
The new sister company will be called
Beaulieu-Germany. (http://www.beaulieu.de)
Beaulieu-France is still existence, but they will
concentrate on video (projection)

By the way, Wittwer is also selling the excellent
16mm Eiki projectors from small home projectors
to large Xenon: http://www.wittner-kinotechnik.de
I think this is good news for cineast, even if
wittwer and beaulieu are kind of pricey companies.
Cheers Klaus
