Hello All,
I've been following this thread with great interest because I'm currently
working on a diss chapter dealing with the connection between
industrial/educational film and New York independents/experimentalists.
The On Film details have been particularly interesting. I've found a 1957
NYT article detailing an On Film project for Alcoa Aluminum co-directed by
Wheaton Galentine (who had some films screened at Cinema 16). The article
mentions that On Film had been active in the industrial market since 1951.
My question: Does anyone know what year Brakhage started working
there? Even an approximate guess would be helpful.
Thanks in advance,
James Kreul
