The same way you'd A/B roll 16 or 35mm film.

Whether or not you can find a lab now that could contact print from S8
A&B rolls, I'm not the one to ask...

The term "B roll" used in news & docs has nothing much to do with
preparing originals for printing, although that might be where the
phrase comes from.... "A roll would be the 'main subject images' -
Geraldo doing a stand up for the camera holding an AK47, "B roll" would
be possible inserts like everyone nearby ducking behind steel doors....
