hi david --
i was using a kodak splicer that made an s-cut. this
was a bitch to transfer to mini-dv, as is obvious in
the streaming version. i might have access to some
different super-8 splicers thanks to a friend that
works at a school around here, so i am thankful to
have some names to look for.
much of my experience in filmmaking is self-taught, so
i am curious: how would one a/b roll a super-8 film?
i primarily hear a/b roll used to describe old news
footage, and i'm not sure how it would apply to
narrative film (instead of news broadcasts).
thanks!
