Just my 2 cents regarding colour balance, some soft will provide you with
some possibility do rebalance colours during post-processing. Linux users can
try the yuv_correct_tune by X. Biquard wich takes a yuv stream as stdin and
spit out a yuv stream as stdout.
Color modification can be done on :
RGB values for shifting
YUV values for shifting
(RGB first or YUV first)
Gamma on each RGB or YUV component (much better).
It may be part of the ever excellent Mjpeg Tools (sourceforge). However
Compiling it and using it is not .... that easy.
